Dallas Zoo with Friends

Thursday the kids were all out of school so we packed up and headed to the Dallas Zoo.  We met some friends there and the kids loved the new Dinosaur exhibit!

Mimi's Garden Project

My mom wanted to put in a little garden that she could do with the kids.  She found this raised bed kit at Costco and then went to town.  The kids had fun helping her get everything ready and plant things. We now have tomatoes, several kinds of lettuce, spinach, cantaloupe, strawberries, mint, thyme, basil, and lots more.  I really hope that we can keep everything alive. 

Go Carts!

Here's a little phone picture dump from last week. 

Harper had a birthday party at Zone Action Park and got to ride Go Carts for the first time.  She loved it!

We enjoyed a few afternoons at the park because the weather was so nice. As long as this one has his snacks and his drink he is good to go.  That is a granola bar that he stuffed in there all at once.

Dinner with Friends

Last weekend we got to have a last minute / spur of the moment dinner with my college roomie, Natalie, and her family.  We met at a yummy Mexican restaurant in Flower Mound that has a great patio and live music.  The kids were entertained by the music and we got to catch up with friends - it was a win win for everyone. 

These two are just a few days apart from each other and might just be Baylor roomates down the road. 

Hello Spring

Saturday was Gorgeous - we finally had perfect weather to be outside all day. So after soccer practice we headed out on a bike ride to the park. 

The trail system where we ride has little exercise stations along the way.  The kids always insist on stopping to "exercise" (play).
