Fire & Police Station Field Trip

Harper's Kindergarten class took a field trip to City Hall complete with Fire Station & Police Station tours.  The kids walked from school and had a fun morning.

Our friend Daniel Ortmeier, is a Fireman in Highland Village.  His daughter, Emme is one of Harper's sweet friends.  Was fun that he was on duty and give their class the tour of the station.

Police Car!

Sweet friends.

Quick trip to Paris

The kids and I made a quick trip to Paris the weekend before Halloween. Jeff was tied up for Saturday so we headed East to play!
Visiting Mama Cutrell and teaching Brody how to play dominoes.

I met up with a running group in Paris on Saturday morning and did my 15 miler with them.  Was nice to have some company. Love running on the Trail de Paris.

Saturday afternoon we headed to downtown Paris for the Pumpkin Festival.  The kids had fun walking around, playing games and doing crafts.  It was pretty hot so we made it until lunch time.

Brody and Harper love helping Mimi clean her pool.

They have Canadian Geese that hang out in their front pasture and then they fly over the house and play in the pond out back.  Brody went chasing them.

We enjoyed our quick trip to Paris.

Hall's Pumpkin Farm

One afternoon before Halloween we met Amanda and her kids at Hall's pumpkin farm in Grapevine.  They were hosting a Mama Bears event for Baylor alumni.   We have attended the last few years and the kids love the pumpkin patch.

Deep in conversation

Noelle & Harper - friends since Birth - just like their mommies.

A failed attempt at a pic of all 5 kids.  My oldest 2 were Done with pics by this point.

Hay Ride!

Brody was not about to feed the animals.  Harper was a little nervous but ended up doing it with the farmer's help.

A fun afternoon!

Monster Triathlon

I enjoyed racing the Monster Triathlon in Keller a few weeks ago.  It was a chilly day but I had fun out on the course.  I managed to take 2nd place in my age group.

The boys stayed home with Papa & Mimi while Harper came to help cheer me on.

Brody's Family Party

After Brody's party at the fire station with all of his friends, our family all headed back to our house for a fun afternoon.  We had a yummy BBQ lunch and then let Brody open all of his presents.

A little Hook 'em

Papa gave Brody his very own tool bag and tool belt!  He was so excited.

We are thankful for family and friends who helped us celebrate Brody!
