Our weekend

Last weekend was pretty low key. We headed to Babe's for dinner on Saturday night with Grandad Sherman.

 



On Sunday morning we all 5 made it to church. Walker was fussy during Sunday School but finally conked out and slept through the service in Jeff's arms.
 
Sunday afternoon we headed to the airport to pick up my Dad.  He was returning from a week long mission trip to Haiti. The kids loved all of the sights and sounds of the airport.

Family Night at the Park

One evening last week the temps were bearable enough to take a family walk to the park.  This was our first outing to the park in a while because it's been so stinkin hot!

Just One

Jeff headed out of town again last week for another A&M baseball camp.  My wonderful mom came to the rescue again.  This time she took the two big kids to Paris for 3 nights!  I forgot how easy it is with just one baby!  Sunday night before Jeff left we headed out for a little date night with the little man in tow.  He was supposed to sleep through dinner but ended up needing to be held the whole time.  Oh well.

He enjoyed the peace and quiet and break from his big sister and brother.
 
We had a lunch date with Aunt Beka at Panera.

Without the big kids around I might have just laid around on the couch all afternoon watching TV.
 
 Thanks to facetime I was able to keep up with what the big kids were doing in Paris. They enjoyed lots of ice cream at Mimi's house.

Harper was so excited to see Walker when she got back home.  She really did miss him.

Happy Birthday Granny Sherman

Jeff's Granny Sherman turned 89 this week so of course we had to have a little party for her.  We packed up the van and headed to Cleburne for the day.  Jeff's dad rode with us so I sat in the far back with Harper.  Wasn't too bad of a ride back there.

Movie Date, Tummy Time, and My Boys

We are enjoying our summer so far. We have spent lots of time catching up with friends that we don't get to see as much during the school year. Last week we headed over to my friend Amanda's house for a morning of play time. I didn't snap any pics of the girls because they were too busy playing.

Our church has an awesome preschool ministry! They put on weekly play date events for all of the young mommies.  Last week we had a movie day at the church where they showed Rio. The kids loved the popcorn, candy and drinks provided.

Mr. Walker is still just along for the ride each day.
