Visitors

We have had a full few weeks around here. We have enjoyed having lots of visitors to meet Mr. Walker.
Colin is 6 months old and the son of my dear Baylor friend, Elisa.

All 3 looking at the camera - wow!

Our cousins, Levi & Isaiah, came to visit this week.  Harper was at Vacation Bible School during the morning so the boys enjoyed playing in her room.  Not sure if Levi had ever seen so much pink and barbies!

Isaiah - can't get enough of this cutie!

Failed attempt at a pic of all 5 kids.  Our mistake was waiting until 1:30 when everyone was melting down before leaving.  Oh well - you get the point.

Harper enjoyed attending Vacation Bible School all week.  My friend, Carrie, worked this year and she picked up Harper each morning and dropped her off after it was over. This was such a blessing to not have to get out with the boys every day.  VBS was a superhero theme and she loved it.

Some more cousins came to visit on Friday.  Reed & Allee came all the way from Wylie to meet baby Walker.  Reed was so sweet to play with Brody all morning.  He helped wear him out for nap time.

Walker will be 4 weeks old tomorrow.  Time sure does fly when you are having fun....or not sleeping.

Weekend in Paris with Aunt Carol

My sister came to Texas for the weekend.  She and her hubby live in Louisville. We had not seen her since Christmas so it was a fun treat to have her here for a few days.  Unfortunately, I didn't end up with any pics of her with the kids. She was a big help with the big kids and enjoyed loving on Mr. Walker.  We all headed to Paris for the weekend.  Harper's first stop was making cookies with Mimi.

Walker helping Papa work.

Our favorite part about our summer visits to Papa & Mimi's is the pool.  The kids swim in the morning and then after naps.  The sun and swimming usually makes for easy bedtimes because they are worn out. Brody was a little hesitant at first to go off of the board but then we couldn't get him off of it.  He jumped over. and over. and over.

Grandma Jane & Walker sat inside in the AC watching all of the swimming action. 104 years separates these two.

I came outside at one point to find Brody flying through the air doing back flips.

Two weeks old

Walker is two weeks old today.  We are settling into a new routine as a family of 5.  I'm so thankful that Jeff is home a little more this summer.  He has baseball camps going on but is around in the afternoons and evenings.  Walker is the easy one these days. He pretty much just sleeps all the time, wakes up to eat every few hours, then goes back to sleep.

And just to compare this is Brody at two weeks old.

I think they look pretty similar.

Big Sis & Walker.  She loves him soooo much.

Two week stats from the Doctor:
Weight - 9lbs
Height - 21 inches
Head - 36.5 cm

Mini Me

Jeff was in charge of the big kids this afternoon and they came downstairs dressed like this.  Ha Ha! These pics crack me up.

These were Jeff's uniforms from college.

Father's Day and More

When we were in Paris last week, Walker got to meet his Mama Cutrell.  Walker is Mama's 5th great grand child. She enjoyed showing him off to all of her friends.

The kids enjoyed ice cream sandwiches after dinner.  They are now to the age where I can bribe them with dessert to finish their dinner.

Today was Father's Day and all five of us actually made it to church for the first time.

We are so thankful for our daddy.

Pool Time

We made our first trip to Paris as a family of 5 this week.  The kids did great on the road.  Walker was quiet until the last 15 minutes.  I then sat on the floor between Brody and Walker and held in his paci.  The kids enjoyed swimming at Papa & Mimi's house.  This was our first swim of the year.

Yeah for summer!
