Meeting Cousin Rylee

Jeff's sister, Rhonda, had her first baby at the end of December.  She and Bill live in Lubbock so we had not met Rylee until this past weekend. They made the trek to the metroplex for the weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our time loving on Miss Rylee.

Saturday morning we attended a sip and see for Rylee.

Grannie Sherman was able to come.  This is her fifth great grandchild.


A glimpse into what my life will be like come June.  I had to play a lot of defense with Brody.  He was really excited to love on her.

Harper's Singing Debut

Harper loves going to choir at church every Sunday evening. They sent her home with a CD a few weeks ago for her to practice her performance songs.  Last Sunday morning was her big debut singing in "big church".

Off to a great start

Baseball season is upon us and our new team is off to a great start.  They are 10 -1 so far and daddy is happy with that. It's been pretty chilly for most of the games but we have managed to make it to a few of them.

Happy Birthday Anna

Saturday we made the trek over to Main Event in Frisco to help celebrate Anna's 5th birthday.  We definitely miss being neighbors with these sweet friends.

First attempt at bowling.  She used the ramp for the first few times then got the hang of it and wanted to just push it down the lane her self. 

Brody managed to find an empty lane (without bumpers) and take a few rolls.


After bowling and pizza they enjoyed some fun arcade games.

Valentine's Date at the Ballpark

Baseball season is in full swing and there was a scrimmage tonight against Wakeland.  After spending the afternoon at the Aquarium we grabbed Chick Fila and had a picnic at the baseball field.


This is the first game of the season that we have attended so I didn't have my "entertainment bag of tricks" packed and ready to go yet.  Thanks to Chick Fila for providing a somewhat captivating toy in the kids meal.

Emerson and Harper attend the same preschool and her dad and Jeff have been friends for ever.  They enjoyed playing together tonight.
