Holiday Weekend

Our fun Saturday continued with a pool party / cookout over at the Walsh's house. Dan was the Head baseball coach at Centennial for a few years.  They moved to Connecticut for Carrie's job and just recently moved back.  We are happy to have them back.  Before the moved, we celebrated their twins 1st birthday. Well, now the twins are 3 and Harper had a blast swimming with them.

Happy Birthday Andrew!

We had a busy but fun Memorial Day Weekend.  Saturday morning started off with a fun birthday party for Harper's buddy Andrew. It was a cowboy theme so they were supposed to come dressed in their duds. Brody had boots but they were too big and he was tripping in them and you can't see Harper's red boots in this pic. They wouldn't wear their hats either for this pic - but you get the picture.

Bike The Bricks

Friday night we met our good friends the Diamonds out at Bike The Bricks in downtown McKinney.  It's a bike race that winds around downtown.  It was a nice night to be outside and the kids enjoyed watching the cyclists.  And we had a yummy dinner out to celebrate Heather's birthday!

These girls have grown up watching mommy and daddy do races.  Harper was a little confused why one of us wasn't racing. She kept asking us who we know and who are we watching.

Snowcones and Spring Football

Last week we made our first trip of the season over to the Frisco Snow Cone Lady.  We waited in a long line and the kids played in the dirt while we waited but they were worth it.  Yummy!

Friday morning we headed out to CHS for our Spring Football game.  Yes baseball just ended last week and yes football is already starting!  They have a few weeks of football practice in May before school lets out.

Harper was more interested in her snack even though it was only 8 a.m.!

First Day of Swim Lessons

Harper started swim lessons last week. Last summer she took lessons all the way over in Carrollton but this year we found someone a little closer in Plano. She is in a small group setting with two of her friends form church - Reese & Audrey.  They both have younger brothers the same age as Brody so we drop the girls off and take the boys on a walk around the neighborhood during the lesson.





We will have her doing her first triathlon before too long...

Sunday Funday

I managed to not take any pics on Mother's Day so we snapped these last week before leaving for church.

I'm so thankful to be mommy to these two beautiful bundles of energy.


Jeff decided that Brody needed to learn the game of golf.  So why not play in your Sunday best?
