Catching Up

I'm catching up from the past week.  Last weekend my family came over to visit and we had a great time.

Harper waiting for Papa to arrive.  Rockin' the princess shoes and the bead necklace!

"Yeah - Papa made it before my bedtime."

Brody got lots of cuddle time with Aunt Beka and Aunt Carol.

Meeting Amanda

My life long friend, Amanda, came to meet Brody today. We both grew up in Paris and were born two weeks apart from each other.  She and her family live in Fort Worth so we get to see them occasionally.

Brody slept through most of her visit.

Red High Heels

My friend Natalie is getting married in December and the bridesmaids are wearing these cute red shoes.  Harper found them in my closet today and tried walking in them.  She did pretty good considering they are 4 inch heels!

2 Weeks

I'm a little late posting this but Brody turned two weeks old on Monday.  I managed to get both kids by myself to the Doctors office for his two week appointment.  Brody is doing great and growing like a little weed.
Weight: 7 lbs. 9 oz. 25%
Length: 20 1/4 inch - 50%
Head: 14 1/2 inch 50%

Harper loves to be close to Brody wherever he is. Notice that she put her baby doll right next to him and covered them both up.

Happy 3rd Birthday Holice

Yesterday we headed over to Holice's house to celebrate his 3rd birthday.  His mom, Leslie, did a great job with the "muffins and milk"  theme.  So cute.

Harper enjoying her muffins and chocolate milk.

I love these disposable sippy cups.

Big Sis & Bathtime

Harper is such a good big sister.  When I'm taking care of Brody she carries around her baby doll and mimics what I do.  Here she is reading to her baby doll.

Brody loves bathtime.

Fall Festival

Last night we headed up to Prestonwood for the annual Fall Festival. There were lots of games, inflatables, and food. Harper was a little overwhelmed by all of the action.
Here's Brody and Brynlee chilling while big sisters Harper and Kate ran around. She is 10 days older than Brody.
